Qualifications:
Education
Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
Licensure
Must hold and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
Responsible for maintaining active licensure throughout employment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform required duties.
Required Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association, or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
Additional Certifications
May be required based on department, unit, or role. Some may be obtained within a designated timeframe after hire:
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
PEARS – Pediatric Assessment, Recognition & Stabilization
NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
ENPC – Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course
TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course
CPHON – Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse
OCN – Oncology Certified Nurse
C‑EFM – Fetal Monitoring Certification
S.T.A.B.L.E. – Six Assessment & Care Modules (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work & Emotional Support)
Other unit‑specific certifications as required
