Registered Architect Requirements

B.S. degree in Architecture
Tennessee Architecture license
5+ years of experience in architectural design, including municipal, K-12, and higher education facilities
Experience with State agencies and/or medical projects is a plus
Proficiency in REVIT is a must
Project management and marketing skills preferred
Experience in higher education, residential, commercial, mixed-use, and municipal projects

Registered Architect Responsibilities

Assist with all technical aspects of design and project production
Coordinate with local authorities, clients, contractors, and suppliers to define project scope and ensure successful construction
Develop technical studies, designs, and written specifications
Manage project budgets and schedules, and ensure project completion within set parameters
Attend meetings and conduct site visits during construction to ensure adherence to design specifications and building codes
