Position Summary

Perform Simulations and administers Radiation Therapy according to Physician orders using existing policies and procedures. 

Responsibilities

• Perform Simulations and Administer Radiation Therapy according to physician orders using existing policies and procedures.

• Be able to rotate through the 2 different sites at both Middletown & Westbrook, performing simulations and treatment delivery.

• Work with both Elekta & Varian Linear Accelerators & GE Simulators.

• Be flexible working with a varying schedule to include warm ups of Treatment Machines & Simulators.

• Be willing to take the On Call Beeper for weekends.

• Adhere to Radiation Therapy Policies & Procedures

• Be a Team Player, working collaboratively with other staff in the department.

• Provide the safest, highest quality healthcare and the best experience possible.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology. 
• ARRT board certified, currently licensed to practice in the state of Connecticut. 
• Demonstrates ability to apply principles of Radiation Therapy Technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred; required upon employment.
