Rack Picker

Reporting to and assisting the Lead Picker, the Picker will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Distribution Center as described below.

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

• Always follow all general safety rules and guidelines to eliminate accidental injury
• Instruct and train new employees as needed
• Complete all required paperwork
• Operate a forklift
• Operate an order picker
• Must be able to work at elevated heights
• Must be able to read tape measures, scales and gauges
• Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Cycle Count locations
• Monitor aisle for Housekeeping by assignment
• Follow Standard Work document instructions (written)
• Monitor and correct unsafe Housekeeping issues outside of assigned aisle
• Perform all other duties as instructed by the Warehouse Supervisor

The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with few concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening.
• Positive and Verifiable Work History.

• Push, pull, carry, and lift 75 lbs.
• Walking, standing, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping and repetitive movements.
• Talk, hear, read, write, and comprehend English.
• Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Work near moving mechanical parts.
• Must be able to work in moderate noise, up to 83 decibels.
