Location: Onsite Monday-Friday, NE Portland, Oregon Competitive Compensation: $21.00-23.00 hourly to start, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a shift differential of $ 1.50/hour when working night shift Shift: Nights/3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 p.m.-2:30 a.m. Occasional overtime on Saturdays Training Shift: Days/1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. for the first ~4-6 weeks of employment Opportunity Are you ready to build a career you can be proud of? Our team takes pride in craftsmanship, efficiency, and working safely. We’re hiring a Production Associate I (Nights) to support our handcrafted tile operations. This is a hands-on role with an initial focus on firing the tile in kilns and roller hearths. If you like staying busy and being part of a team, this could be a good fit. Keep equipment, tools, and workspace in clean and safe working condition.
Additional Requirements Physical Capabilities: Ability to regularly lift 20-30 lbs. and occasionally 50+ lbs. Work involves prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, and repetitive motion associated with loading and unloading kilns and roller hearths and transporting ceramic units. Ability to learn and safely operate machinery and equipment, including kilns, roller hearths, pallet jacks, and pallet wrappers (training provided). Work Environment: Duties are performed in a production factory environment requiring sustained physical activity. Exposure to elevated temperatures, especially during summer months and when working near kilns or heat producing equipment. Exposure to industrial noise, dust, and typical manufacturing environmental conditions. Screening: Successful completion of a drug screen and background check Reliability: Ability to maintain consistent attendance and work performance Safety Compliance: Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
