Purchasing Agent - Direct Hire in Kulpsville, PA
Salary: $70,000
Manpower is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Kulpsville, PA area to identify a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys supplier management, cost negotiations, inventory control, and collaborating across multiple departments to support operational success. Must bring pervious experience in industrial manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement process from sourcing through purchase order execution.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and establish favorable supplier agreements.
- Partner with production planning, engineering, quality, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and support inventory management initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure dependable delivery and quality performance.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.

- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of purchasing or procurement experience.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
