Press Brake Operator (Direct Hire) 1st Shift - $20-$25

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in custom fixtures, displays, and food equipment, is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.  This is a direct hire opportunity with full benefits. 

Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Location: Cranston, Rhode Island
Pay Range: $20-$25
Shift: 1st Shift (6am-230pm)

What's the Job?

• Review part drawings and specifications to ensure accurate setup and operation of brake press machines.
• Set up and operate various machinery such as brakes, rolls, sheers, saws, and presses.
• Perform mathematical calculations to determine bend dimensions and deductions.
• Adjust and fine-tune machine settings to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.

• Knowledge of machine operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient basic math skills, including converting inches to decimals.
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding, multi-task environment and collaborate with team members.
