Job Description

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Girard, PA where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This outpatient opportunity seeks a clinician who can evaluate, develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans, delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services, and support patient and community return to activity. Clinicians are expected to maintain professional standards, complete timely and accurate documentation, participate in student learning when assigned, and engage in professional development.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Pennsylvania physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; ideally 1–2 years of outpatient experience. New graduates will be considered.
  • Competency with comprehensive evaluations, goal writing, functional outcome assessment, and documentation in compliance with state and payer requirements.
  • Ability to follow physician orders and work within insurance authorizations as indicated.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising students.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and participation in performance improvement initiatives.


Assignment Details

  • Schedule: 5x8 (five 8-hour shifts per week).
  • Setting: Outpatient clinic environment.
