Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
  • Active West Virginia physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Experience in skilled nursing facility settings preferred. This includes working with geriatric populations, restorative programs, and long-term care residents.
  • Ability to perform standard PT procedures including therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, balance training, and use of common rehabilitation equipment such as Hoyer lifts and walkers.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in outpatient or inpatient rehab preferred.
  • Current TB screening and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policies.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
  • Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
  • Assignment Length: 14 weeks.
  • Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 35.
  • Meal Break: 30 minutes.
