A part-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available within a school district serving students from preschool through high school. This role involves working across seven schools, supporting approximately 40 students with a mix of direct and consultative therapy services. The position is ideal for therapists seeking a varied caseload within an educational setting and offers approximately 18 to 22.5 hours per week on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students across preschool to high school levels
  • Provide both direct intervention and consultative support to educational staff and families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes in accordance with school policies
  • Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based therapy settings
  • Familiarity with pediatric populations from early childhood through adolescence
  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple school locations within the district
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of educational regulations and therapy documentation requirements

Location:This role serves schools located in Vallejo and Pittsburg, California, providing travel between seven different school sites as needed.
