Physical Therapist - School Setting in Pittsburg, CA

Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time physical therapy opportunity is available in Pittsburg, CA, providing services across a district that includes preschool through high school students. This contract position involves working approximately 18 to 22.5 hours per week, supporting approximately 40 students within seven schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students ranging from preschool to high school.
• Provide both direct therapy and consultative support, depending on student needs.
• Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Manage caseload efficiently across multiple school sites within the district.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
• Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy, particularly in educational environments.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff.

• This role is based in Pittsburg, CA, serving seven schools within the district.
