Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This part-time role located in Hartford, CT offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting. The successful candidate will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with diverse learning needs, helping to foster an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and executing IEPs for students requiring speech and language support
- Collaborating closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to support student success
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, with flexibility to adjust strategies as needed
- Supporting students with a variety of speech and language challenges in a school environment
Qualifications and desired experience:
- State certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings working with diverse student populations
- Familiarity with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
