Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for the 26/27 school year in Seaside, CA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work within a very supportive school district that provides abundant resources to help you succeed. Caseloads are to be determined, allowing flexibility and growth in your role.

The district welcomes both licensed SLPs and SLPAs, including those with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), pediatric experience, clinical fellowship year (CFY) candidates, and those with experience or certification in school settings. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, though it is not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a school environment
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the school community

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP or SLPA certification/license appropriate to school settings
  • Experience with pediatrics and school-aged populations preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Bilingual skills a plus but optional
