Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, located in Lincolnville, ME. This opportunity involves working with K-12 students on a caseload of approximately 30 students, primarily from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade. The position runs from August 21, 2026, to June 9, 2027, encompassing all 183 school days.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students within the school setting, addressing diverse communication needs
- Implement individualized treatment plans and track student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Deliver services in-person and potentially via teletherapy, ensuring accessibility for all students
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Maine
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school and healthcare settings is highly desirable
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for teletherapy sessions
- Familiarity with caseload management in educational environments
Work Schedule & Details:
- Full-time contract position: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Workdays total 183 during the school year
- Start date: August 21, 2026; End date: June 9, 2027
