Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Bucksport, ME, this full-time, contract opportunity offers a dynamic setting for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students throughout the 2026-2027 school year. With a caseload of approximately 30 students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade, this position provides the chance to contribute meaningfully to childrens communication development in a school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Maine
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with pediatric populations in schools, including teletherapy
- Familiarity with clinical fellowship year (CFY) requirements is a plus
- Experience working as an SLPA in school or healthcare settings is beneficial
Position Details:
- Contract dates: August 21, 2026 June 9, 2027
- Work schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Total workdays: 183 days aligned with the school calendar
- Caseload: Approximately 30 K-8 students
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy services, and collaborating with educators and families to support student progress.
