Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade during the 2020-2021 school year in the Toccoa, GA area. This role offers the opportunity to work within a school environment with a caseload preference option when openings are available in Helen, Cleveland, or Cornelia.
Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders. The position requires collaboration with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support student success in the classroom and beyond. The role spans from August through May, with interviews available this week and next.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) preferred; candidates holding a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) may also be considered.
- Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations.
- Familiarity with teletherapy and healthcare speech-language pathology is a plus.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a varied caseload effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with school staff.
