Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in elementary education settings from kindergarten through 6th grade. This position is based in West Helena, AR, and offers a chance to work across two school sites with a manageable caseload of up to 20 students. The role spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning on August 17, 2026, and concluding on May 29, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children K-6
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to provide integrated care
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Support students across two school locations, managing a caseload of up to 20 children
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP credentials such as CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence); candidates with Pediatric, School-based, or CFY experience are highly encouraged to apply
- SLPA candidates with relevant school experience may also be considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills geared toward working with young children and school personnel
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and with empathy
