Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric and school settings in Chaska, MN. This contract position supports a dynamic educational environment where speech and language services are essential to student success. The role requires an on-site presence and offers the possibility of renewal at the end of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC)
- Experience or certification in pediatrics and school-based therapy
- Completion or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is encouraged
- Strong understanding of evaluations, individualized education plans (IEPs), and therapeutic interventions within school settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities
