Driver/Shipping Clerk

We are seeking a driver/shipping clerk to work at our Alsip, IL location.

Shift: Day Shift (8:00AM 2:30PM, Mon - Fri)

Location: Alsip, IL

Job Requirements

Be punctual and maintain an excellent attendance record

Must have forklift experience

Must be detail oriented

Must have clean drivers license

Ability to utilize basic math skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work day shift and stay later as needed/position typically requires overtime

Ability to stand and or walk 100% of the workday

Ability to work in shop environment - continuous exposure to potentially hazardous metal working machinery and equipment, loud noises, dust, mist, oils and solvents

Forklift: 1 year (Required)

Shipping & Receiving: 1 year (Required)

Driving: 1 year (Required)

Job Responsibilities

Complete final inspection and quantity check of all parts prior to shipping

Operating forklift to load/unload

Package Handling

Handle administrative tasks including input of data, adjustment of data and retrieving information relating to orders

Lifting packages up to 50 lbs

Organizing order to ship and received orders
