Occupational Therapist School Setting - Sterling Heights, MI

Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Occupational Therapist needed for a K-12 school setting in Sterling Heights, MI, on a contract basis for the remainder of the semester with potential extension into the next school year. This role is onsite only and requires an active Michigan license to practice.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12
• Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized treatment plans
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and progress
• Provide direct therapy sessions to support student participation and success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
• Participate in team meetings as required

Qualifications:

• Current Michigan Occupational Therapy license is mandatory
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of school-based occupational therapy practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work onsite full-time during school hours
