Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for Occupational Therapists to provide essential services within a school setting in Mount Gilead, OH. This contract position involves working with early childhood through 5th-grade students, focusing on delivering quality occupational therapy support to enhance their educational experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to students in Pre-K through 5th grade
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Conducting assessments and documenting progress according to state and school requirements
- Participating in team meetings and supporting the school's educational goals
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license is required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children in a school-based occupational therapy role preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of early childhood and elementary students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
