Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position supports K-12 students with diverse needs, offering direct intervention to enhance their functional abilities within the educational environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized OT services aligned with student IEP goals
• Utilizing pediatric assessment tools such as PDMS (Peabody Developmental Motor Scales), BOT (Bruininks-Oseretsky Test), and VMI (Visual-Motor Integration)
• Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement therapy plans
• Maintaining accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports to monitor student advancement
• Managing a caseload of K-12 students, tailoring interventions to optimize developmental and academic outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Florida is required
• Proven pediatric skills with proficiency in administering PDMS, BOT, and VMI assessments
• Experience working within a school setting preferred

Details:

• Contract duration: Immediate start through 5/29/2026
• Schedule: 38.75 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Location: Winter Haven, FL
