Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings, located in Wellton, AZ. This contract position offers a part-time schedule of 20-30 hours per week, providing direct services to approximately 40 students. The role primarily involves working with a high school caseload across multiple schools, with the flexibility to visit 1-2 school sites per day.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering occupational therapy services to students with varied needs
• Collaborating with educators and staff to support student development and success
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Managing a caseload focused on high school students
• Coordinating visits efficiently across 6 school locations, typically attending 1-2 sites daily
• Providing professional support and coverage following the recent resignation of a COTA

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist, preferably with school-based practice experience
• Knowledge of educational environments and ability to adapt therapy approaches accordingly
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple sites and a sizeable caseload
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and school staff
