A part-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Hayward, CA, supporting students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position is ideal for therapists seeking a flexible schedule with hours expected to start at around 10 per week and gradually increase through the end of the school year. The role is scheduled to begin ASAP and concludes at the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services to K-12 students within the school setting.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and document student progress according to regulatory and school guidelines.
  • Adapt therapeutic interventions to support varied student needs and goals.
  • Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
  • Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
