Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract Occupational Therapist position is available in Fountain, CO, working within a school setting to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role offers a 30-hour per week schedule with responsibilities spread district-wide, providing occupational therapy services tailored to meet the diverse needs of a K-12 caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and document student progress in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Support teletherapy services as needed to ensure accessibility and continuity of care.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences to discuss student progress and goals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant credentials to practice in Colorado.
- Experience working in school settings is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods and healthcare or home health occupational therapy practices is a plus.
- Ability to manage a broad caseload effectively and maintain detailed documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Location: Fountain, Colorado (school district-wide)
