Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract occupational therapy opportunity is available in a school setting located in Davenport, FL. This role supports K-12 students and is designed for a skilled therapist with pediatric expertise.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Florida is required
- Experience with pediatric assessment tools including PDMS, BOT, and VMI
- Strong background in school-based occupational therapy services
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 29, 2026
- Schedule: 38.75 hours per week across 5 days
- Caseload: K-12 students requiring occupational therapy intervention
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in the school environment
- Conduct evaluations using appropriate pediatric assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements
