An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide early intervention services in a school setting located in Cashmere, WA. This full-time, contract position focuses on supporting children from birth to 3 years old with early intervention needs and begins as soon as possible. The role offers a unique blend of teletherapy and in-person services, with travel between multiple school sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to children aged birth to 3 years, focusing on early intervention.
  • Provide support across various school sites, requiring travel within the district.
  • Collaborate with educational and clinical staff to develop individualized therapy goals.
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms to conduct virtual sessions when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation to track student progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Support caseload management effectively, ensuring consistent service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with relevant school-based experience.
  • Experience in early intervention and pediatrics preferred.
  • Ability to conduct teletherapy sessions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple school sites within the district.

Work Schedule and Details:

  • Full-time contract position, approximately 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
  • Position starts immediately and continues through the 2026-2027 school year.
  • School district is open to hiring two part-time OTs to share caseload and responsibilities.
