Occupational Therapist School Setting in Cardington, OH

Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based occupational therapy opportunity is available in Cardington, OH, offering a full-time contract position supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. This role focuses on providing OT services in an educational setting, working closely with young students to support their developmental and functional needs within the school environment.

Position Details:

• Full-time contract role
• 37.5 hours per week
• Three openings available
• Early Start (ES) placement with a caseload consisting of students from PK through 5th grade
• Location: Cardington, Ohio

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with a valid Ohio OT license
• Experience or training in school-based OT services
• Ability to manage a caseload of PK-5 students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions in the school setting
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student goals and participation
• Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Support students in developing skills necessary for academic and daily school activities
