Occupational Therapist School Setting - Coyanosa, TX

Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized occupational therapy services in a school setting located in Coyanosa, TX, on a part-time contract basis. This role involves supporting approximately 40 students across various age groups with timely and effective therapy interventions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in compliance with state regulations
• Certification in School-Based Occupational Therapy preferred
• Experience working in educational environments beneficial
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students twice per month, focusing on enhancing their functional abilities within the school environment
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and applicable regulations
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary strategies for student success

Schedule: Part-time, approximately two days per month
