National Account Director Requirements & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on commercial real estate, property management, or facility services clients
- Demonstrated track record closing large, complex, or multi-site service agreements
- Experience responding to and winning RFPs in a service industry
- Existing network of industry contacts, ideally in the DMV or another major U.S. metro area
- Ability to navigate long sales cycles and engage multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel up to 40–50% nationwide
National Account Director Preferred Background & Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facility services
- Familiarity with national account structures and managing multi-location contracts
- Connections within BOMA, IREM, or related commercial property management associations
National Account Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close national and multi-site commercial cleaning accounts across key U.S. markets
- Leverage existing relationships to generate leads and build early-stage pipeline
- Develop and execute a national account strategy with leadership, targeting key verticals and markets
- Own the full sales cycle: outreach, RFP response, pricing negotiation, scope of work, and handoff to operations
- Represent the company at industry events and networking forums to increase brand awareness
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data in CRM, reporting regularly to leadership
- Collaborate with operations to ensure deliverability and support seamless account launches
