MRI Technologist – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to accurately follow physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. This role is based in Wichita, KS at a hospital facility. Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-volume MRI department and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in MR or equivalent certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 6 months of recent MRI technologist experience; candidates without this experience will not be considered.
- Experience using GE MRI equipment preferred.
- Experience with Meditech or comparable EMR systems preferred.
- Ability to administer contrast agents and operate scanners to produce high-contrast diagnostic images.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or with critical care patient populations.
- ARRT (MR) preferred if not already listed as current certification.
- Prior experience working in a busy MRI department with multiple units.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 07:00–19:00.
- Work schedule includes weekend coverage as specified by the unit.
- Department includes three MRI units, including recently added GE Artist machines.
- Average department volume approximately 30–35 exams per day.
