As a Mobility Intake Specialist, you will connect with patients, gather essential intake information, and guide them through the qualification process for power mobility equipment. This role blends high-volume call handling with detailed documentation and patient education to ensure a smooth and supportive experience. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, phone-driven healthcare environment. Job Details
  • Location: Bradenton, FL 
  • Shift: M-F, 9:30AM-6PM
  • Pay: $18+/hr. (depends on experience) 
 What You'll Be Doing
  • Place outgoing calls to prospective patients in accordance with regulations and team guidelines, including consideration of assigned leads, call quality, time zones, call control, and duration.

  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, meeting departmental standards for call handling and quality.

  • Collect and/or verify all necessary intake survey information to initiate the qualification process for power mobility equipment.

  • Document patient records thoroughly and accurately, including call outcomes, notes, and follow-up dates, in alignment with quality assurance standards.

  • Provide clear and helpful education to patients about power mobility equipment, the qualification process, and what to expect throughout.

  • Meet or exceed daily intake quotas as assigned by team leadership.

  • Manage a high volume of calls - Spend at least 80% of each workday actively engaged on the phone with patients, providers, or insurance contacts.

  • Remain current on product offerings, policies, and procedures through regular participation in team meetings and training sessions.

  • Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned by leadership.

 What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1–2 years of experience in a call center, healthcare, or data entry support role preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and friendly phone manner.

  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment, with emphasis on data entry.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology is a strong plus.

  • Willingness to work overtime, evenings, or weekends based on business demands.
