Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

Required Skills/Experience: - Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. - References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Shift & Scheduling: - If placed on call and then called back in, they have 30 minutes to arrive.

Required Credentials: - RNs in this unit are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. The pass/fail exam is on Friday during orientation, is open book, and requires a 90% to pass.
