Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required skills and experience: Trach care, vent, bipaps, cpaps, IV’s, PICC, central lines, wound care, bowel programs, TPN, drains/tubes, pulmonary patients with trachs, laryngectomies, central line, G-tube/Peg-tube (tube feeds). High acuity rehab (needing more acute care experience).

Shift & schedule requirements: Weekend rotation: Every third. Will be expected to work some holidays. If there are back-to-back holidays in the contract (i.e. Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day) they will be assigned one of the grouping, not both.

Floating requirements: Patients float off unit for HD and PD. Could float within scope of practice here. All staff evenly float; mainly use Float Pool to float.

Unit and facility details: This unit mainly focused on Spinal Cord Injuries

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0
