Medical Director Dermatology
Regional Leadership Role | North Carolina
Salary up to $300,000
A growing healthcare network in North Carolina is seeking two Board Certified Dermatologists to serve as Regional Medical Directors overseeing dermatology services across a 10 clinic region.
This role combines clinical dermatology with leadership responsibilities, offering the opportunity to guide dermatology program development, mentor providers, and expand access to dermatologic care within a multi clinic system.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership for dermatology services across multiple clinics
Establish clinical protocols and dermatology standards of care
Support and advise primary care providers on dermatologic conditions
Diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions including skin cancers and chronic skin disorders
Perform dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy
Assist with dermatology program development and service expansion
Mentor and support dermatology providers and advanced practice clinicians
Collaborate with leadership to improve patient access to specialty care
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified in Dermatology
Active North Carolina medical license or ability to obtain prior to start
Five or more years of clinical dermatology experience preferred
Leadership or medical director experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits
