Material Handler

Material Handler 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $15.25/hour

Schedule: 6:30a-3:30p Mon-Fri

Were seeking dependable and detail-oriented material handlers to support daily warehouse operations. This role is hands-on and ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in accuracy and organization.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against shipping documents (packing lists, bills of lading, etc.)
• Enter received goods into the warehouse system using purchase orders or advance ship notices, noting and resolving discrepancies with the Receiving Technician
• Inspect returned materials to confirm condition and quantities against return authorizations
• Pick materials from inventory using pick lists or handheld scanners and move items to designated order-fill areas
• Load products into cartons or onto pallets according to order requirements
• Verify counts and record data using barcode scanners and manual system entries
• Package orders according to established packaging guidelines
• Label shipments and include required documentation
• Process outbound shipment transactions, ensuring accurate counts and packaging integrity
• Prepare shipping paperwork and coordinate with carriers to ensure proper loading and labeling
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership, including supervisors and leads
