Maintenance Technician

Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $32.40 an hour + $.50 shift differential

Reporting to the Department Manager, you will support safe, efficient, and reliable operations at the Conagra Brands - Menomonie, Wisconsin manufacturing plant. You will perform maintenance activities that support production, food safety, and quality while working in an industry‑leading safety environment. The base rate for this role is $32.40 per hour, with over $5 per hour available through the Incentive Pay program. This role is paid weekly on Fridays, includes daily overtime eligibility in addition to weekly overtime, double time on Sundays per eligibility, and the option to cash out unused vacation hours.FULL benefits package available:

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, layout, and fabrication maintenance work
• Repair equipment and perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and implement corrective actions while following SQF procedures
• Use tools, machines, and diagnostic equipment, including machine shop and fabrication equipment
• Follow plant and department safety rules, administrative processes, and documentation procedures
• Support other maintenance team members and complete additional duties as assigned
• Provide production coverage support as needed
• Maintain responsibility for food safety and quality
• Follow direction provided by Crew Coordinators
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Mechanical and electrical experience appropriate for general maintenance work
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
• Strong collaboration skills with maintenance, production, and leadership teams
• Ability to prioritize work and perform tasks safely and efficiently
• Willingness to work across varying levels of maintenance complexity

Physical RequirementsMore information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:

• Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
