TRC Talent is looking for a Maintenance Lead for our client in Piedmont, SC!

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for supporting production from startup through full facility operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment while ensuring optimal performance and safety. This role also oversees facility systems and serves as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related activities and contractors.

Job Details:

  • 1st shift (8:00AM – 4:00PM, Monday–Friday)
  • $30–$35/hr + BOE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support production ramp-up from startup to full facility operations (RTCO support).
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Adjust and maintain equipment during product changeovers.
  • Oversee facility systems including compressors, water systems, and building infrastructure.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for contractors and external service providers.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
  • Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in developing a small machine shop for basic mold refurbishment.
  • Help build and structure the maintenance organization with the opportunity to lead a small team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical skills with basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated.
