Job Details

We are seeking a Litigation Partner to join our Washington, DC office with a focus on complex civil litigation, including product liability, mass tort, and other high-exposure disputes. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, multi-jurisdictional matters alongside highly regarded trial lawyers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

We are looking for someone who thrives in high-stakes situations, enjoys building and executing case strategy, and can contribute immediately to ongoing matters requiring depth in discovery, expert work, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

Manage and support complex litigation matters, including product liability, mass tort, and other high-exposure disputes
Lead and coordinate fact and expert discovery across multiple jurisdictions
Develop and execute litigation strategy in MDL proceedings, including involvement in bellwether discovery and trial preparation
Work closely with expert witnesses on scientific and technical issues, including preparation of Rule 702 strategies
Contribute to trial teams in high-stakes matters, including jury trials in challenging venues
Draft and argue dispositive motions, appellate briefs, and other key filings
Collaborate with internal teams across offices to support large institutional client matters

Qualifications

Significant experience handling complex civil litigation matters at a law firm or comparable platform
Background in product liability, mass tort, or other multi-party litigation strongly preferred
Experience with MDL proceedings and/or bellwether strategy is highly valued
Strong trial exposure, including participation in jury trials
Experience working with expert witnesses and managing scientifically complex issues
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and work across jurisdictions

Requirements

Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (DC admission or ability to waive in preferred)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proven ability to operate in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
