Licensed Insurance Agent Requirements & Qualifications


  • Active New Jersey Life & Health Insurance License
  • Reliable transportation for client visits throughout New Jersey
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to manage multiple client appointments efficiently


Licensed Insurance Agent Preferred Background & Skills


  • Background in life, health, employee, voluntary, or supplemental insurance
  • Experience with benefits enrollment and client relationship management
  • Familiarity with Medicare or financial services


Licensed Insurance Agent Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Meet virtually and in-person with existing clients across New Jersey
  • Conduct annual insurance and benefits reviews
  • Educate clients on life, disability, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and supplemental coverage options
  • Recommend personalized insurance solutions based on client needs
  • Guide clients through enrollment and application processes
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely follow-up
