Licensed Independent Social Worker Core Job Functions: 

• Willingness to work individually and contribute and engage in team culture.
• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy in accordance with best practices and ethical standards.
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Monitor and document client progress using electronic health records (EHR).
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and provide consultation to medical staff.
• Deliver culturally competent services tailored to the rural population.
• Support crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all Rural Health Clinic (RHC) and billing regulations.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments.
• Completes documentation in a timely manner (no later than 7 days after the client contact, and usually required within fifteen days or less).
• Complete annual training and maintain appropriate level of licensure.
• Maintain professional staff/client relationships and appropriate roles and relationship boundaries.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Adhere to NASW Code of Ethics.
• Complete all other duties assigned willingly and within assigned timeframes. 

Licensed Independent Social Worker Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active LISW license in Iowa.(must be Independent License)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience working in rural or medically underserved settings is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Valid Driver's License
