Healing Arts Veterinary Center is seeking a Lead Veterinary Technician to join our growing team! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who is ready to take the next step in their career and grow into a leadership role within a supportive and collaborative environment.
In this role, you will combine hands-on technical responsibilities with leadership of the veterinary assistant team. Duties include assisting with inpatient and outpatient care, exam room support, and surgical assistance while helping maintain efficient hospital flow and high standards of patient care.
Leadership responsibilities include training and mentoring support staff, assisting with team scheduling, delegating daily tasks to optimize workflow, supporting inventory management, and helping with marketing and safety initiatives. This role also helps ensure hospital safety protocols and medical standards are consistently followed.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, staying organized in a fast-paced environment, and fostering a positive, team-oriented culture while delivering excellent patient care.
Schedule: This is a flexible full-time position with either a 5/8 or 4/10 schedule, with availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating weekends.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $18-24 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $500-$2,000 based on experience and licensure
- CE allowance: Up to $1,000 annually based on licensure

Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Leadership Experience Required
- Strong technical skills including:
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
- Cystocentesis
- IV catheter placement
- Microscope evaluation
- IV and IM injections
