Our client, an industry leader in creating custom fixtures, displays, and food equipment, is seeking a Inventory Specialist to join their team. As a Inventory Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting inventory management and logistics. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. This is a direct hire opportunity with full benefits.
Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Location: Cranston, Rhode Island
Pay Range: $17-$20
Shift: 6am-230pm
What's the Job?
- Operate forklifts and other lifting devices to move products, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.
- Receive, issue, and control inventory, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and locations.
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain proper labeling and storage of materials.
- Assist in unloading and stacking materials, supporting warehouse operations.
- Support other departments and perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Ability to operate forklifts and obtain/maintain forklift certification.
- 1 to 3 months of related experience or training preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a team environment.
