Inventory Control Associate

Reports To: The Warehouse Supervisor

Position Overview: Aero Fulfillment Services has an opening at our Fairfield warehouse for an experienced, full time Inventory Control Associate. This position will be first shift Monday through Friday, but candidates must also be open to working overtime when needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for ensuring the customer's material is properly received and internally managed
• Fosters a proactive, participative, cooperative work environment that has a customer-first attitude
• The attitude includes exhibiting a can-do, high quality work atmosphere
• Excellent work ethic including good attendance
• Continually looking for ways to improve efficiencies and procedures
• Handles customer materials with a quality attitude
• Efficiently handles all work
• Notifies supervisor of any slowdown in work
• Trains and assists other employees
• Exhibits same efficiencies and attitudes when temporarily moved to other departments

Qualifications:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed
• Ability to accurately count and separate products
• Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to operate a RF Unit
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift & cherry picker)
• Able to work independently and as a team player within a fast-paced environment
• Adheres to loss prevention control and compliance procedures
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged standing with occasional walking
• Low level positions: squatting, kneeling, crouching
• Use of ladders and step stools
• Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds

Education:

• Preferred: High School or better

Experience:

• Inventory control: 1 year (Preferred)
