Job Description

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for independently diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction, callback ratios, and service ticket performance within a primarily residential service environment. The technician works within a 50-mile service radius and collaborates with dispatch and service leadership to deliver consistent, high-quality results.


HVAC Service Technician Benefits and Compensation:

HVAC Service Technician Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC field experience
  • EPA Certification
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
  • Experience servicing high-efficiency HVAC systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage a full service schedule
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to work in attics and crawlspaces

Must haves:

  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems with minimal oversight
  • Maintain strong productivity while keeping callback ratios low
  • Accurately document service findings, repairs, and recommendations in service software
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency service calls
  • Maintain organized truck inventory and represent the company professionally

HVAC Service Technician Preferred Background & Skills:
