A hospital housekeeper cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, operating suites, and public areas. They dispose of waste, restock supplies, and follow safety protocols to keep patients, staff, and visitors safe.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, patient beds, equipment, and bathrooms.
• Perform deep, thorough cleaning of patient rooms after discharge or transfer to prepare them for new occupants.
• Refill soap, paper towels, sanitizer, and room linens as needed.
• Mop, sweep, vacuum floors.
• Thoroughly cleaning patient rooms and discharge rooms .
• All other duties as assigned.

• Clean and tidy assigned areas following established process to meet cleanliness standards
• Vacuum, clean, and sweep floors
• Dust and polish furniture and hard surfaces
• Empty and clean trash containers

• Wipe down glass surfaces
• Make up beds and change linens as required
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
• Replenish toiletries and consumables according to prescribed layout
• Respond to calls for housekeeping assistance
