We are seeking a visionary Hotel General Manager leader for relocation to Central Arkansas to take the helm of our landmark new development and elevate the guest experience. This is more than a traditional General Manager role it’s an opportunity to inspire a team, lead a successful hotel opening.

Hotel General Manager Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience, including prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager roles
  • Proven experience in select-service or branded hotel environments (Courtyard by Marriott or similar strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated success with pre-opening operations, including staffing, training, and systems implementation
  • Strong background in revenue management, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Working knowledge of Marriott systems such as PMS (FOSSE/OPERA), One Yield, CI/TY, and Medallia preferred
  • Experience overseeing or supporting Food & Beverage operations in a select-service or limited-service environment
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams
  • Financial acumen with the ability to interpret and act on P&L statements

Hotel General Manager Preferred Skills:

  • Experience leading pre-opening hotel projects from planning through stabilization
  • Strong sales and community engagement experience, particularly in partnership with local convention centers or group business segments
  • Ability to drive operational efficiency while maintaining brand standards and guest satisfaction
  • Familiarity with Marriott brand standards, loyalty programs (Marriott Bonvoy), and guest experience expectations
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with ownership, brand representatives, and corporate stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to position the hotel competitively within the local market
