Full Time Security Officer 

 

Location: Billerica, MA

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm

Pay Rate: $21.14/hour
 

Securitas USA is seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused First Shift Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals.

• Conduct routine patrols of assigned premises.

• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.

• Enforce property rules and regulations in a professional manner.

• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance.

• Write detailed, accurate, and timely incident reports.

• Provide excellent customer service and assistance to clients and visitors.

• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and safety hazards.

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic computer proficiency for reporting and access control systems.

• Must pass background check and drug screening in accordance with company policy.

• Valid driver’s license (if required by site).
