Forklift Driver - Lumber Details:

• Contract to Hire position
• $ 20.00 / hour
• First Shift

• Operate forklifts to load and unload lumber, building materials, and finished products.
• Stage materials for deliveries and production according to schedules and work orders.
• Inspect materials for damage and verify quantities before loading.
• Maintain a clean and organized yard to ensure safe operations.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with general yard duties as needed, including material handling and cleanup.

Forklift Driver - Lumber Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience required (lumber yard or building materials experience preferred).
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
