Warehouse Associate Needed ASAP in Irondale, AL

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Able to drive and operate a sit-down forklift.
• Displays a positive, can-do attitude with an outgoing and approachable personality.
• Builds and maintains strong, positive relationships with customers.
• Ensures the warehouse is consistently clean, safe, and well-organized, including effective management of bin locations.
• Accurately fulfills and ships customer orders in a timely manner.
• Efficiently manages, prioritizes, and pulls warehouse transfers.
• Pulls loads for regular truck deliveries, ensuring accuracy and readiness.
• Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed.
• Verifies accuracy and condition of all incoming shipments; records shipments in the operating system per receiving procedures and stocks inventory logically.
• Wear the proper safety equipment.

Qualifications:

• Education Level: High School or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-2 Years

Physical demands and abilities:

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

• Be able to apply good organizational and time management skills in the warehouse.
• Be able to operate a fork truck safely and with minimal product damage.
• Be willing to accept additional job duties when required.

Shift: 8am - 5pm Schedule: Monday - Friday Pay Rate $17/hr
