Warehouse Associate Needed ASAP in Irondale, AL
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Able to drive and operate a sit-down forklift.
- Displays a positive, can-do attitude with an outgoing and approachable personality.
- Builds and maintains strong, positive relationships with customers.
- Ensures the warehouse is consistently clean, safe, and well-organized, including effective management of bin locations.
- Accurately fulfills and ships customer orders in a timely manner.
- Efficiently manages, prioritizes, and pulls warehouse transfers.
- Pulls loads for regular truck deliveries, ensuring accuracy and readiness.
- Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed.
- Verifies accuracy and condition of all incoming shipments; records shipments in the operating system per receiving procedures and stocks inventory logically.
- Wear the proper safety equipment.
Qualifications:
- Education Level: High School or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-2 Years
Physical demands and abilities:
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
Work process and environment:
- Be self-managed with excellent work habits.
- Be able to work well with other employees.
- Be able to apply good organizational and time management skills in the warehouse.
- Be able to operate a fork truck safely and with minimal product damage.
- Be willing to accept additional job duties when required.
Shift: 8am - 5pm Schedule: Monday - Friday Pay Rate $17/hr
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $17.00
